So what would everyone LIKE to see happen in their relationship, besides "getting closer?" What specifically?

i'd like for them to talk about Nick. i still think a lot about him. maybe Charlie has a nightmare or Alicia has one about Nick and the other one wakes her up and they have a talk about it. i still feel like that topic isn't done yet, at least it would hunt me if i was Alicia or Charlie.

That would be interesting. I think that the writers have avoided "the Nick discussion" because they don't want Alicia to outright say, "I forgive you." They might feel that it's better left unsaid.

They could have them talk with alycia saying, "I may never be able to fully forgive you what you did to my brother, but I realized that with all that is happening, we must work together and protect one another to survive and maybe build a better tomorrow".

Indeed. Actually, it might be even more interesting if the girl said something like this to a depressed Alicia. What if she tried to atone by keeping Alicia alive? She sort of did this during the storm.

And this is the sort of thing that we should be seeing more of. It would help develop her character and their bond. The creators did so little in those regards over S5.

I think guilt is a topic they could still address more. Also the Nick thing was handled too fast imo. Generally we need deeper writing between character's connections.

I think they try at times, like with Al's "the truth matters," but I got bored with that after a while. I started losing interest in Alicia's character last season too.

I know that some people here don't care for June, which confuses me, but I think that she might make a good mother-figure. She and Alexa seem to work well enough together.
