so yeah seems like CW killed of another gay character who confessed his love and immediately died afterwards. so many are referring to Clexa and Lexa's death in 3x07.

I know nothing about the show but I was aware that they had a huge crack ship fandom - which seems to be canon now. On the one hand I am happy for them but on the other hand it's of course brutal but not surprising how bad and disrespectful CW handled their relationship. One would have thought CW learnt something about the BYG tropes and here we are, doing this all over again.

i read/heard a lot about Destial cause they have a pretty strong fanbase. i admit i always thought they were like Supercorp - mostly just fanon and never canon. but apparently it happened - well half way cause Dean never got the time to say anything before Castiel died.

They were always fanon, and by the sounds of it, it was even worse than supercorp. As in, they were never really much.

I can't believe they actually caved though and made it one sided canon

I never watched Supernatural but was aware of the ship. When I read that they were canon, I though they kissed. But then I found out Castiel went to hell after expressing his love for Dean, who didn't even respond. So, not only does a character, who just confessed loving a person of the same sex, immediately go to hell, it apears to be one-sided.

The finale episode of the show is going to air next week, so they literally gave the fans crumbs, without ever having to develop a meaningful relationship.

It's the finale season though, it barely matters. It would be impactful if it happened years ago/they had been written as canon for several season.

well, if in fact the WB ownership of CW are trumpanzees, they got a double-punch today. Biden is the 46th USA President and Nevada became the first US state to officially recognize/legalize same sex marriage, with full benefits under the law. that that, trumpers.

California already had fully legal same sex marriage before tbh.

i think it was meant that Nevada was the first state to constitutionally protect same sex marriage.
