Love the Waige family moment at the end of the episode I wish Walter would try harder to connect with Paige as he does with Ralph yes I know Walter and Ralph are on the same IQ level and it is easier for him but I guess by connecting with Ralph he connects with Paige

The dynamic is very different - and not just because Ralph is a genius, too.

Ralph is a kid an he looks up to Walter. Walter can teach Ralph. It is acceptable and even expected that Walter would interact with Ralph as someone who knows more than Ralph.

Walter is not always very intuitive where Paige is concerned, but I think he knows that he has to treat her as an equal. Walter is not used to treating many people as equals, especially non-geniuses. That makes it much harder for him to figure out how to do that with Paige. With most people Walter could care less if he alienates them - but with Paige he cares very much. Sometimes that makes him do totally the wrong thing. Or not do the right thing when it's very, very important.

I agree. Walter's relationship and connection with Ralph is on a different scale than his relationship with Paige. So it would be expected for Walter to act in different ways towards both of them.

You start off with probably my single favorite Walter line of all time. I absolutely LOVE that he acknowledged that all his protests to the contrary were false and he's been in love with her pretty much from first sight. And then that music...

Yeah. That was adorable. It reminded me of when Walter tugged her down to lean on his shoulder at the end of season 3 when they were on that island.

I like to think that they have had great sex after missions this season to relieve the tension. If I had my way Walter would stop by Paige's condo after dropping off Florence after the lecture
