I have a cheap enough Xbox One s so that when the X comes out, I can trade up and get 80% of my money back, which is good enough for me. I always want the best and most recent lol

That is a good idea hey! I am not totally hooked on my XB1-S (with save files and all that deep inside of it as I have with my 360) so I could easily get the X1X and move these files over to it then sell the XB1-S easily, or keep as a backup.

I have to. If I don't have the latest and greatest video game consoles, I flip out. PS4 pro was so much better than regular ps4. Xbox one s is so much better than xbox one.

no, it wasn't announced then. I just did it because I'm usually the first person I know to have the newest technologies. I used to sell cell phones and TVs so i'm pretty up to date on those.
