1x01 'Sassenach'
{AIRS: 9th August, 2014}

Claire Randall is a WWII combat nurse visiting Inverness, Scotland with her husband, Frank Randall,
reacquainting themselves with each other after being separated for five years during the war. Frank is
researching his family history, in particular his ancestor Jonathan "Black Jack" Randall. The morning
after observing a modern Druid ritual among a set of standing stones on the hill of Craigh na Dun,
Claire hears a strange noise coming from one of the stones. She places her hands on it and ... wakes
up lying on the ground. Soon she finds herself in the middle of a skirmish between Redcoats and
Highlander rebels, and then comes face to face with Frank's sinister double: Black Jack Randall,
Captain of His Majesty's Dragoons. A Scotsman rescues Claire from Randall's attack and takes her to
his fellows; there she meets Jamie Fraser, first setting his dislocated arm and then treating his bullet
wound as the group of Highlanders flee the Redcoats. Realizing that she seems to have travelled
backward in time, Claire is brought to their home of Castle Leoch."

well for meits at the end, where the smimilarities from the present collides with the past, with claire, with the loch , and when we see her and jamie

cause i like seeing a bit from the past and present in there, to like combine, cause i didnt know much of the whole story before this show, and it really intruiges me

I appreciated the scenes with Frank so much more than I thought I would.
But from the moment Jamie shows up is where it really starts for me and I still 'freak out'

I looked it up Heidi; Claire was 27, Jamie 23. That's not too bad, I thought the age gap was bigger

So are you saying Sunday evening Rita?

yeah thats not alot, i thught maybe it was bigger

but true i mean guys are not as fast grown up as women

well thats my experience after all hahahaha
