I know Canadian ratings probably don't count for anything as far as renewal is concerned, but a recent newspaper article said that The Flash was the second most watched show in Canada, beaten only by The Big Bang Theory. We're apparently a nation of geeks

And the audience is keeping pace with the super speedster. Last week’s episode was the second most watched show in Canada after The Big Bang Theory.

That’s good news for the Vancouver superhero factory where The Flash is filmed. Especially since science fiction reboot The Tomorrow People was cancelled. Sibling show Arrow, also based on a DC comics character and shot in Vancouver, is going strong into its third season, so citizens of Starling City — rejoice.

Ok, good-I found a place to post this.

"The Flash" Casts Malese Jow as Linda Park - Comic Book Resources

I like Malese Jow and Barry having an additional potential love interest is kind of funny.

They're doing a really good job with casting so far.

I only know so much since I was a kid when I read it and I read JLA more than The Flash,but it does seem like they're trying to be faithful. On some of the superhero forums,they seemed fairly pleased as well,although pulling off Firestorm probably will be hard. Wentworth Miller on tv again is amazing.

THE FLASH is The CW’s highest-rated series debut ever in Men 18-34 (2.5), and the second highest-rated series premiere in Adults 18-49 (2.6).

The debut episode of THE FLASH rose +41% in total viewers in Live + 7 compared to the Live + Same Day total, and jumped +37% in Adults 18-34 and +39% in Adults 18-49.

THE FLASH premiere has been seen more than 13 million times across all platforms, including initiated streams on digital platforms and total unduplicated viewers on-air over two airings the week of Oct. 7.

THE FLASH is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti ("Arrow," "Everwood"), Andrew Kreisberg ("Arrow," "Eli Stone"), David Nutter ("Arrow," "Game of Thrones") and Sarah Schechter. This series is based upon characters published by DC Entertainment.
