That's true, even though the filming spoilers will stop, the episodes should be really, really good by then. I can't even think about May. As much as I'm anxious to see those later eps, I'm not going to wish the time away, because I don't like what follows. But not thinking about that yet. We're early in 4b still.

With that said, I suspect the other two might eventually buy into Regina's deception but I would not be surprised if Maleficent gets onto Regina rather quickly. In fact, it would not surprise me one bit if Mal figures out what she is really doing but plays it off with a double 'double-cross' down the road, confronts Regina that she knows, plays it off on her own like she wants to side with Regina behind the backs of the other two to find the author and her happy ending, pretends to be cool with the others all the way up until finding her daughter, and then bam - it comes out she was still working for TEAM EVIL the whole time under cover. Like Regina was trying to do with the heroes. I believe A&E said something to the effect that a happy ending does not necessarily mean redemption. So, just because Mal reunites with her child does not guarantee that she is switching sides to become a hero, just because Regina might be. Just some speculation. __________________

I'm not sure about Mal pretending to be on Regina's side, I think that's too repititive, but I do think the last part of what you said is very possible. Mal could reunite with Lily without actually switching sides. Mal seems to be more reasonable than some of the other villains we've seen. She was willing to work with Snow in the past because it seemed to be her best option. If Cruella and Ursula are both gone or dead, and Regina and Emma are willing to help her find her child, she might decide it's in her best interest to call a truce and get along with them, at least for now.
