Me, too. Because you very well know that ache as well and that they long for the other to be around. I very well recall Red's concern when Dembe doesn't show up and Dembe trying to save Red and Liz at the end although he is shot.

It was so strange to not see them together.
 And Red immediately knew that something was wrong with Dembe when Dembe didn't show up at their meeting spot. God knows how long Dembe would have been locked up if Red wouldn't have known something was wrong.__________________

It was through Vargas that he got out but Vargas turned on Red and Dembe cause he started to work for Solomon. At least that is how I remember it.
