He can help Ressler but I think he chooses not to until Ressler asks for himself. But he definitly knows.

Yeah, maybe it's a step that Ressler needs to take first and Red knows that...
 I guess it's all Ressler's decision, if he wants to face the consequences of his actions or if he wants for it to go away forever.__________________

True... He needs to make a decision and then Red can help him. But the decision is his as long as Ressler's actions doesn't mean that Liz is in danger.

I guess he does. At least that's what Red would want to do before he asks somebody else for help and Ressler isn't too different from that. Especially when the person, he would have to ask for help is Red...
