I've also supported Francis since the pilot. I didn't have a problem with the wives comment because well I thought it was true of the time. And I thought he was brass when talking about Colin, but after reading the script, what he said made more sense.

I don't expect Francis to be perfect. I expect him to do things I don't like. I just need to always understand his actions. I've liked him from the beginning because he was complex, and was shown to be trying to do the right thing, and I really liked Toby's acting and thought he had great chem with the Adelaide. It was that simple for me.
