There's always news even though the show is over and a kind atmosphere is purposefully promoted. I certainly never expected that this show, this fandom, or this board would become such a big part of my life, but it has.  What makes it pretty is your and Amanda's STUNNING banners!  And your animated icons!  THANK YOU! I adore the one you are using.  SO SO PROUD AND GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF YOU!!  CONGRATS ON FIVE WONDERFUL YEARS, REIGN BOARD!!! HERE'S TO MANY MORE!  I want to apologize that everything is so simple.  I ran out of time to really work on it all. And UGH I'm so disappointed in my icons.  My only excuse is that my editing software updated to a new version and I'm basically re-learning how to make basic edits.  Plus, I never have time to practice.  Hopefully that will change this year and I will actually learn some new tricks. Just know that I am going to keep on working on them and adding more this week. REMEMBER - If there is anything that you would like to share and add to the OP, I would be happy to do that!  PLUS, if you want to use a celebration icon and don't see the right one for you, feel free to request one. I will do my best. __________________

Congratulations on 5 years guys! Gah, I loved this show! I kinda had to give up on it because of Francis' death and my heart couldn't take it but one of these days I should finish.

I completely understand how you feel. I had a hard time watching after Francis died, too. But you should definitely finish it! There's a lot of great stuff in Season 3 and 4 - especially with Mary/Catherine. Quote:
They both had pasts, but they offered each other a chance at redemption. Plus, their bickering was so entertaining. It's hard to measure these things, but I would say that Kennash was probably the second most popular ship on the show at the beginning of Season 2, behind Frary. (Although, Greith was universally loved as well). I for one loved Kennash, and I rooted for them until the bitter end. If Caitlin hadn't been fired, who knows where Kennash's story would have gone. Perhaps they still would have thrown angst and infidelity at them, but maybe they would have overcome it.  With Caitlin leaving at the end of Season 2, it was like the writers decided they had to ruin her character even further and implode Kennash so that she could leave cleanly and never be mentioned again.  It was just really disappointing.  Especially when they tried to offer us Bash/Delphine as a substitute. Just... NO. No matter what, I will always cherish the potential that Kennash had.__________________
