Fluffy insanity. Ah yes poor Toby. In some scenes the hair really was out of control. Definitely a mystery how the talented hair and makeup team didn't keep it in check.

Now let's remember all the lovely Frary angst in 1x18 and 1x19.

Ugh, I'm not sure if I'm ready to let go of #16 just yet. You know I'm a sucker for the parallels - Back to You (Pilot), Come Back to Me (1x19), You Came Back (1x21). I love when the writing just hits you over the head like that.

Plus, it's part of a very epic Frary reunion - even if it was brief. It was sweet seeing Mary so happy and relieved that her husband made it home safe from the battlefield.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm going to vote for #12 this time. Obviously, it was a completely true statement. Francis loved his wife and he put her first until the end. He did whatever it took to protect Mary, even if that meant risking her anger or hatred... even if that meant risking his own life.

But, the quote itself doesn't feel special to me.

Perhaps it's overshadowed by the angst of the scene - Francis locking his own wife in a tower. Or maybe it's the fact that, in that moment, Mary herself just didn't understand how much her husband loved her - and that's frustrating. IDK. As always, I'm willing to switch.

Ugh. It is getting harder. #12 is one of my favorites because of the scene. It encapsulates the battle and tension between love and duty in their relationship ...

That being said, I have no clue what to vote for.

Yes, these decisions are so difficult.

We'll see you back here when you've made your choice. You might have a good shot at convincing me to switch - I'm not that confident.

I understand what you mean about #12 and that scene. I agree that it does a great job of encapsulating that central conflict in their relationship. What do they put first? Their love for each other or their duty to their countries? It really is captivating. I guess there are just other scenes/moments/quotes that highlight that tension that I like better.

Between 12 and 16, I'm going to vote 12 first. 16 just always makes me melt. 12 not so much

Yeah, I know the sentiment behind #12 is very beautiful and romantic, but the context just doesn't make me melt or swoon like some of the others.

I'm going to vote with Shu on this one. #16 for me. I just don't like super-cheese, I guess? I don't know. I love M's excitement over F's return, but it just comes across to me as too much somehow.

I just appreciate #16 because it's one of those rare moments of joy that these two get to enjoy. It's not too much for me.

I'm very tolerant of cheese; in fact I'm all for cheesy and fluffy moments with my ships. They don't come around often enough, especially for Frary. Whenever they get to be happy together I savor it

OT, but I finally posted the prologue for my GG fic. Super nerve-wracking after all this time to enter a new fandom's fic realms and to put something out there that I love ... I had forgotten that feeling. LOL.

So good! You know I don't ship Rory and Logan, but I am really enjoying it so far. As always, your writing is completely on point. I could totally imagine the show giving us a scene like this, and you make it easy to feel everything that Logan is feeling. Well done.
