Literally. Going through the hiatus AND season 4 not knowing if she'd come back or not was torture. I mean, it did become super obvious at one point, even before the season started, that she'd be back, but still there was always a part of me afraid of it not happening

It feels like it's the "hiatus that shall not be named". But the positive side of it is that fans banded together and the OB creator's listened. Power to the (cophine) people!
I've been catching up on tumblr with the cophine (wooooow...!). I'm not sure if it's been discussed within these threads about the fanfic and/orfan vids. I noted that many authours chatted about how creating such art got them through "hiatus that shall not be named". Any discussion here on popular cophine fanfic? Tumblr accounts? What I enjoy the most is the hilarious jokes gifs or fan vids (my biggest laugh on the weekend was "1 Minute of Delphine Being 100% Done"). For fanfics, the alternate universe (AU) fanfic is intriguing and creative. However I prefer fanfic the sticks closely to the canon storyline. |

We have a fanfic thread here but I think a lot of the ones we talk about are mostly AUs.
I think a lot of the popular tumblr accounts are on trips to other fandoms at the moment, as usually is the case over hiatus. Plus there was a bunch that fell to the wayside after that particular hiatus. |

plus these type of fandom migrators are always quick to claim that their current f/f fling is the ~best ever of all time~ and holy **** that's annoying af. like half of these people don't even know about the classic ships that paved the way for things we have now. i didn't mean to rant, but. |

And I can't understand why there's a need of competition. You ship that, I ship this, heeeeey we both ship THEM! Cool. Share. Read (or not). Ship and let ship. I do credit that bandwagon shippers may influence actual series writers to reconsider the plotline. *coughs #saveDelphine* So such followings can be positive. But leave it to human nature to twist something good into something ugly. |

Kinda relevant post in regards of f/f fandom (and any fandom).
Admittedly, I am the first scenario in regards of Cophine. — Coming into a fandom late |
