Knew it was coming. Because feels from the show are still haunting me, I was not as sad as I would have been pre season 3. If it was Delphine that died, I would have stopped reading.

As for that author's new fic....too much Shaysima. I'm gonna stay with it because I like their writing, but Cosima better be dumping her ass soon. So far she's the perfect girlfriend compared to Delphine. Don't want any Mary Sue ****.

I'm glad I went with my instincts and stopped reading TUW about 15 chapters ago. I have no problem with depressing tales dealing with death in general literature (in fact, I like them), but that's not why I read fanfic, thanks. It's my respite.

Not really fake advertisement. In 3x6 Cosima was with Shay. Instead of pretending she or their relationship didn't exist she is going with what was canon at that time.

I knew it was coming too but it didn't make it any less emotional for me.

I don't follow the author, but I'll occassionally look through her tumblr and like her fanfic updates. She said at the start of the story that it was going to be something that came from her own experiences and she's said a few times on her tumblr that she's already lost someone important to her. I didn't want t say anything in case I was wrong, but I guess not.

I can appreciate that the whole story was very well written and realistic based on what was happening.

In nicer fanfic updates, things seem to be going well in The Colony!

Now that is one I'm reading. I like it. I hope things keep going well for them (at least for a while). I hate stories where you start to get payoff and then its angst/drama right away. This Delphine seems very self-assured and mature. I'm wondering if any drama will come more from the time period its set in than the actual players.

I didn't mind Delphine ringing up, but the crying over the phone was a bit much. I thought at first that something had happened and David had somehow found out about Delphine and was at her apartment making her upset, but not so.

I practically had a hernia at this tho:

OMG yes that bracelet line. If David heard their conversation, hes gonna want to hold onto Cosima even more. He gets off on her sleeping with other people and hearing that she let Delphine do that will get him even more excited.
