It sucks that we more than likely will have to wait until the finale to know Kol's fate, but I doubt the writers are dumb enough not to bring him back. He was popular even before The Originals and I think learning more about him now/his relationship with Davina has helped boost that popularity. I could see them trying to trick the audience in a few episodes that there's no way to bring Kol back and we see Davina and his family truly grieve - only for him to come back in the last episode. Maybe he even comes back and no one is aware of it. Like Freya resurrects him or something

it can happen and it should but it means some other nice character is gonna die then

I'm also a huge OUAT fan. I'm glad it's back finnaly. But unfortunatly I have to wait untill monday after work to see the episode because I live in the Netherlands.

I also don't think the writers are that dumb indeed. Especially when they gave us hope that he could come back. They wouldn't toy with the fandom like that and than not bring him back. People would riot and I think they know that. The character was already populair before he came onto the originals but I agre that the relationship with Davina also gave his populairity a real boost. I also like that they are one of the few pairings on all tv shows in general that only have each other as love interesrt from the start. I hate triangles. Like I said I have no doubt he will be back but I'm sure they are letting us wait for it for quite some time
