I just watched the pilot, it's good
I've seen the original film like 10 times I think  So I keep on feeling I know what's going to happen though some things are different!  __________________

The movie was really good IMO so that's hard to live by but I like that the series is different. It has some elements from the film but with a different touch to it.

I didn't know it was based off a movie. I see it's also on netflix (aussie netflix, anyway) so I'll probably watch. It'll spoil me for the show, though.

the movie is good, but they changed a lot of things from it.
and yeah he must have done a really good job explaining the story to his daughter (and apparently not his wife) __________________
