Lili addressed this and said that the show wants to keep them both straight. They're platonic soulmates of sorts. It sucks and she said she knows there are fans, but it's the narrative they picked.

They do need more Archie/Jughead and I hope that this week's episode is the end of Archie and Grundy. I'm so glad that they had a real Geraldine Grundy. It's a nod to the comics.

Yes cause at this point, I just want Grundy gone from the show. Maybe another decent teacher can take her place? It wasn't just Fred who guided Archie to be a better person, his teachers were instrumental too.

I dont think anyone likes grundy or that storyline. Well, one person.

If they planned for b+v to be straight then they are doing a horrible job of showing that! A kiss in the first episode, and then veronica saying she felt like betty was her fate, and then checking her out in the wig/lingerie, i mean, come on.

Archie and Grundy seemed like they had a lot of chemistry in the beginning, but then I found out that he was 15 when he had sex with her. I was a tad bit confused b/c or the road trip, but maybe Jughead is older.

They need to show Reggie more, especially in scenes with Veronica.

I still don't know who I ship on the show but I don't mind Betty & Veronica at this point. Jughead is the only likable guy on the show for me. And Kevin but he's been background so far.

I want them to make Reggie have more scenes. I'm hopeful that in future eps he will be.

1. betty/veronica (really hope its not queer bating, by far my otp)
2. jughead/archie (totally never gonna happen but i still ship it hard)
3. betty/jughead (they seem like they could be super cute, id be totally on board)
4. veronica/archie (my only hesitation is how it would affect b+v but i love these two)
5. jughead/veronica (would be totally down for it. they give me dan/blair vibes. but dont see it happening. would love a friendship though.)
6. kevin/moose (need more!)
7. archie/josie (would be totally down for this pairing too)
8. betty/archie (i see them more as friends now but they have potential.)
9. cheryl/jason (i know its gross but well, im intrigued).

perhaps hermione/fred if they do them justice. cant really see reggie with anyone just yet as we haven't seen enough of him.

There was an article saying that Cheryl realizes that she's in love with him now that he's gone, but they won't have one. I think that's ,because it's been giving off vibes nonstop and other articles about Riverdale call them incestous.

I usually hate twincest,but this is meant to be creepy and weird.

Archie and Jughead will most likely have an Aromantic relationship. They're like siblings in canon, but I think that aside from Betty,he has the most intense relationship with Archie. Right now they're not there yet, but they will be. Archie is being an ass because of this storyline.

Archie and Veronica are canon and he considers her his girlfriend,so even if it hurts Betty,it's going to happen.

Kevin and Moose bug me because so far, it just seems like he's curious and Kevin is suddenly put off by him. I'd need a strong reason to ship this because of Midge.

I'd like Archie with any pussycat,tbh.

Jason/Cheryl is just for me. It's incestuous and wrong. I don't want the show to dwell on those kind of relationships even though they exist.

Yeah, underdeveloped so far for these two. And are we ever going to get Midge?

I want Archie to have a relationship with either Josie or Valerie. And Sabrina. Most especially Sabrina (for me).
