I am increasingly worried they are going to merge Janine's arc into the arc of a character called Becka, who like Janine struggles especially mentally with Gilead, ends up being recruited into an aunt after a suicide attempt when she was going to be given to an arranged marriage...only to sacrifice herself to allow Hannah and Holly/Nichole to escape Gilead.

This is purely speculation, but the way they made Lydia look impressed at how Janine handled the Esther situation, and how desperate Janine was to not be a handmaid to which she'd choose death over...this could mean Janine is never getting out and I really want her to get out with her surviving baby

such as Janine's baby, who was immediately declared a "shredder" in the books, is alive and well in the show after 4 seasons

does have Hannah reunite with June at the very end, but Hannah is a young woman by this point so a lot of time has passed. I want Hannah to get out before this, but at least I hope we get to see their reunion on screen somehow

OMG. By then June would be much older. That's depressing. I doubt Hannah would remember her (or Luke) much if that happened.

a shredder is an "unbaby", born dead or with severe disabilities. Like the one born to the other handmaid in S3. It doesn't say exactly why they are called shredders but it sounds horrible

yeah it's a shame, in the book Hannah doesn't really remember June as she grows up in Gilead. The ending is ultimately a happy one, but one that took a long time to get to sadly. So it's bittersweet, it's good to hear Hannah probably will get out someday, but if it is so far into the future it's tragic she was kept from her real family all that time.

It now makes me wonder, what happens to shredders in Gilead?

Some shredders/unbabies are born dead, iirc they don't specify what happens if the baby is alive but deformed but the name "shredder" gives me a horrible image. They are killed somehow at least.

The show could possibly follow the Testaments with June/Hannah/Luke but if they do I hope we at least get a time jump so we can actually see Hannah get out and meet her parents again. It would be hard to watch June be unable to rescue Hannah herself, but at least seeing them reunite on screen would be nice

The whole Luke/June/Hannah reunion, if they follow it, I'm sure we'll probably get for the last season of the show since there's gonna be a time jump.
