You are right that she didn't put any creativity into breaking up Spoby and Haleb at all.

I get what you are saying about Toby but ever since he became a cop I knew he would be the one to stay. They changed that part of his character in season 5 so I'm going off of cop and enjoying being a cop Toby. But maybe Spoby's getting together endgame is he "discovers" his disdain for Rosewood and the memories there so him and Spencer leave.

So Spencer isn't dating anyone and I don't think Yvonne will be serious so there will be feelings still in play.

But Haleb being so stable at the end there makes it harder to still be like yes they are miserable without each other or they yearn to be together. Plus people say Hanna's been the happiest in the time jump and she's engaged. I mean if traveling can break Haleb up after everything and she's clearly moved on then what's the play here?! Since Haleb has been the more realistic portrayal of a couple on PLL (out of the 4 girls), I always imagined that if they broke up and it wasn't a devastating reason or about A then they would be mature enough to move on (if they weren't endgame for some reason). So I just don't see how this is gonna play out. But I still wholeheartedly ship them despite my complaining.

See what i gathered from that interview was all the couples have broken up mainly cause the girls focused on work and did have time for 5he men

There were only two couples to break up, so having them both break up for the exact same reason was ridiculous and unnecessary. Surely they could be more creative?

Basically. Although breaking them up is probably going to be boring anyway because they'll spend the entirety of 6B and maybe 7A getting them back together. What's the point when they could just focus for once?

It's doubtful considering what we've heard so far. Too many LIs, not enough mystery. Although, that is the main problem with this show, tbh. We need less LIs and more Spencer/Caleb hacking and sleuthing.
