Oh god they've turned Klaus into a pushover. Ew. I loved that Klaus was forgiving only when it came to Caroline

Klaus does have his plate full with the witches having kidnapped Hayley and trying to kill his baby, and apparently he was hexed, and then there are the vampires that sided with Marcel to take over the city, and I think there is a new group of werewolves in town planning something.... He can't bother with the simple fact that Stefan died and Caroline is suffering

I doubt that Joseph would want to go back to TVD if TO got cancelled. Also I think there's a bigger chance of TO having a season 3 than TVD having a season 7, mostly because I can see the lead of TVD not wanting to sign on for another season.

Yeah it seems like the subject of TVD gets on JoMo's nerves a little bit. He probably wants to separate himself from TVD and become recognized as a TO lead which is understandable, but I wish he wouldn't say mean things about Klaroline
 I've read somewhere Kat's signed up only for 6 seasons. I think the show should end after s6, but if it's doing good with ratings, there is no reason for it to end. And as for TO, I see absolutely no point in continuing it without Rebekah. Having only two originals on the show about originals, ridiculous  |

It's more than understandable that Joseph wants the recognition for his own show. And I don't think he ever said anything mean about KC, he just seems tired of it being brought up instead of TO questions in all interviews/con that he does. Personally I understand him, but I think he should be a little more subtle in the way he express his feeling about KC because it's not like his show is that big of hit, and whether they like to admit it or not, KC fandom is still one of the biggest out there and antagonizing them is not exactly the smartest move at all. The problem was that they were so sure that TO would be such a hit that they didn't worked better on the "let's end Klaroline once and for all statements", and just said it very clearly before the show had really gotten steady on their own feet.
Not only Kat, I think they all only signed up for one more season, pending discussions to prolong that. I dropped TO once Rebekah left, no point for me in watching a show where Hayley is the female lead/snowflake/damsel in distress that turned Elijah into a wimp... Not even my love for Klaus was enough to keep me watching it.. and calling the show The Originals has got to be the biggest joke of all.I would like to see Joseph guest starring in the last episode of TVD, just so we would get endgame KC though That's the best ending I could think for them, because I also don't think there is a place for Klaus is TVD anymore....__________________

 Agree with everything you guys are saying about JoMo. I think it's probably hard for him, wanting TO to succeed on its own and still having everyone obsess over TVD, and I also think its hard because there's nothing he can really say about KC or TVD; he doesn't make decisions for the show, and he can't really say anything definitive without pissing off a bunch of fans one way or the other. It's a rock and a hard place for him. I also don't think they'll make it to season 7 of TVD. I don't think they'd have enough cast members. Klaroline!!!  __________________

I agree that he should be more subtle . He really sounds annoyed every time the question of Klaroline is brought up. I do understand him and I'm okay with it, but I feel like he is being unprofesional and some of his comments piss off tons of people on tumblr. So many of them are turning their backs on him, I've seen it myself, and it would be a wise move to just change his behavior instead of accusing Klarolines of being aggresive and rude on twitter. It's not like they are not aggresive or rude, many of them are acting very disrecpetful towards Joseph, but what he is doing right now won't prevent hate, on the contrary, it will just piss them off even more
An that is what Julie does as well. They would only benefit from prasing Klaroline because like you said it's a huge fanbase indeed.I don't have high hopes for Klaroline being endgame to be honest Not with Julie being in charge... |

The problem is that whether they want it or not, cast/crew are supposedly the adults in the situation. The fanbase will always have those fans that are rude and offensive, but what is the logic in people of the show actually instigate and antagonize the whole fandom?! It's pathetic and everytime one of the cast or crew does that I completely lose respect for them.
With that said, I have never seem Joseph really being rude toward the KC fandom. He does answer some things harshly, and I agree with Diana that even if he doesn't like the questions/focus, he should be more professional and handling it with a bit more finesse. It's not false hope once he is not the writer and therefore can't control what happens with his character, and obviously that no Klaroline wants to hear from the mouth of half of the ship that the couple is done for good. What do they expect? That they'll say it, and the fans will all just say "oh okay, let's start shipping Klaus/whoever"?!! That's beyond naivety, and totally stupidity. I honestly don't know if we'll get canon endgame.... but I have to say that I'm pretty happy with the way KC left things atm.... I can live with that being their final scene __________________

^ They're endgame in my head. I just want them to survive both shows. I can come up with the scenes that have them end up together.

^ yeah... if TO survive for longer than TVD than it's a bit hard to do a endgame in the finale of TVD for KC....
I like the flashforward idea that Flora suggested once.... that in the finale the last scene will be a years ahead and we'll get a glimpse of all the characters and how they are living their lives (unlikely since TPTB wouldn't show KC endgame and ruin the possibility of a ship in TO actually working out). Or also there could be a scene where Klaus appears talk to Caroline and says that he still intends to be her last, and she won't be ready to go yet and will just enjoy the world a bit before she goes looking for him. __________________
