The best thing in this film is Michael Keaton's performance as the Vulture. Some of the other performances didn't impress me, but Keaton was really good.

I haven't watched that movie myself. It's an award winning performance so there must be some good in it.

I'm a bit suspicous of that director. He called superhero films "cultural genocide", which is just an insult to peoples that have suffered real genocide, like the Jews, the Armenians and the Rwandans.

People who act like superhero movies are the scourge of the earth really need to get a grip on themselves.

Just curious. Which director said that?

I've been listening to podcasts that have been doing the "Road to Infinity War" thing and I always get so happy when people praise this movie when it comes along. I love this version of spider-man so much, for me everything worked about it.

Definitely something I appreciated. It seemed to fit a lot better with his character, and just the fact that he was an actual teenager now and acted like one. Holland being younger than the previous actors playing spider-man did a lot of wonders for this one.
