Why does Fifty Shades have a small budget if the books a bestseller? One would assume people would like to invest?

I've heard all the hot names in Hollywood attached to the 50 Shades movie and basically every site I go to is talking about it, I doubt the budget would be that small
See, the thing is, I get that we want Ian to get a role and to not get nothing, but he has a role right now, he has a role he will be remembered for, he will, for years to come, be known as Damon Salvatore and I'd much rather keep it this way than to switch it for Christian Grey, I'd rather know him as Damon and then also know him as the actor who plays in movies with things to offer I'm just really against him being in 50 Shades, *insert all kinda of rants*
I think actors should choose roles that have something to say, and the character of Christian sounds like an abusive guy and the book shows him as the 'ideal' guy and it just sends the wrong message, I don't want to see Ian attached in any way to that kind of message

He's not in TMYLM that much, but the bits he's in is well worth watching.

Anybody who knows Ian only a bit more closely would not equate him with Christian's characteristics at all, apart from the obvious pshyiscal resemblances between the descriptions in the book and how he looks

Of course. Ian is pretty much the sweetest, most down-to-earth guy that exists.
But I get what Sheida is trying to say I actually can't even see him going for the role, because he's not one to only choose roles for fame and money, and that is mostly what the role of Christian Grey has to offer.... It's out of our hands, I guess, so all we can do is wait and see

I don't watch TVD but I was able to catch the last part of season 3 finale...so I thought I should bring this here...

I would only watch the show if I knew for sure that Elena would end up with Damon...

Hee, so you've basically seen exactly what I've missed of season 3! I'm gonna catch up sometime soon....I hope Too much tv, too little time. And I really didn't enjoy season 3 all that much, so my motivation to watch the end is kinda low

The season ended on a high note though, it lost me with all the Klaroline business around E15 and then the last 2-3 episodes were quite good and had a Steroline scene

Yeah, but even before the Klaroline stuff happened, the season was already very disappointing to me. I don't know. Right now, I think if it wasn't for Ian, I probably would give up on the show completely.
