In the criminal justice system the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups. The police who investigate crimes and The Lincoln Lawyer who is just so fine. ... I saw a bit of The Lincoln Lawyer on tv a couple of days ago. I thought it was an episode of The Firm. Those guys really do look alike.
If you wanted a different version of Romeo & Juliet you could go contemporary with the short-lived show skin. Though there is a chance the show might violate obscenity laws in some places. It is not the same show as skins. In skin the Juliet-character is portrayed by Oliva Wilde (the oc, House) and the Romeo-man is D.J. Cotrona (Detroit 1-8-7, Windfall, the un-made Justice League movie from a few years ago in which he was to be Superman ). The feuding houses are her father the pornographer and his father the district attorney. I did say it was a contemporary version. Finnegan, if you want Pulse i could hook you up with the verysupermaxultra widescreen rip i found ... 22.5x9 or i could rip it for you as it is something i actuall own I was about to rip it when i thought to come by here and o wow Sheida found an alternative that is smaller and accessible for her. Finnegan, it took me 1 minute to find that version of R&J from 1978. Sadly what i found is a full resolution DVDrip encoded with Divx at a bit rate of just over 500kbps. In other words total crap. It is 2hr47min and it is 786mb. The movie of The Firm is about that long and my rip of that is 2100MB. |

^Skin sounds intriguing!
Did you download the crappy version of the 1978 R&J? If we do go with that one, I might ask you for the source at some point. I like crappy quality files, they're smaller __________________

That does sound interesting though also hard to come across?
I like the idea of watchng the older R&J adaptation but seeing as ts nearly 3 hours will we be able to watch it as a group? I mean rewatches normally start at midnight my time and while I have no problem staying up til 3 I may start being even less incoherent by then Also I fnally got my exact exam dat, its next friday and so Im up for a rewatch anytime after that __________________

I guess i could download the 1978 crap quality R&J if you want it. But only if you actually ask me for it. It is on a private torrent site and my ratio there isn't super great. I'd prefer to waste my cushion on stuff i or other people actually want rather than on speculating there will be demand. Being less incoherent wouldn't be a bad thing |

Oh wow, I am incoherent right now it seems, lol, I meant more incoherent, not less, looks like I should also stay away from posting in the mornings too
This exam is doing stuff to my brain *sigh* Hmm I don't know about the crap quality version, I wouldn't want you to waste your ratio on something that we might not end up watching or something with bad quality, just hold that thought for now, we have other things we can watch in the meanwhile __________________

So your exam's on the 17th then? Not long until it's over and you can finally stop reading all the annoying textbooks! __________________

It's our new years in 2 weeks time and I'll be away on vacation any chance we can have some sort of a rewatch this week? Maybe watch Romeo and Juliet or an episode with a YA cast member in it?

Once exam madness is over, and before the anniversary is around the corner and we should watch YA episodes, should we throw in something else to (re)watch in between? What do you all think? __________________

Oh crap Tomorrow night sounds fine, but I can't do it until shortly after the time of this post. Have to work until 10pm (which was 11 mins ago here) and might need 20-30 minutes to get back home etc.
