Remember, Disney is not the sole creator of fairy tales. They were created by the Grimm brothers and other authors in many countries. The original stories are much different. I can't wait for this either.

I know that!! But Disney did such a good job with the movies, so I will say Disney Character, because when I talk about one of the princesses, I think how they look like in the Disney movies!

Also I think that since they are on ABC that at the core these stories are based off the Disney version wtih maybe bit from other versions and their own twist on it. The dwarves and naming the cricket Jiminy are examples of that.

I'm not sure about Lucy Liu playing Mulan, if they went for someone slightly older I would say Kelly Hu.
