I think the main thing I loved about Rumplestiltskin, is that he's not really evil or good, he just does what the heck he wants to do.

Like you should know not to cross him, cause he always win. He has such a great IQ, and he'll keep his word while doing a favor for a favor. He's just awesome. lol

Some shows allow their actors to direct down the line, but not sure if OUAT will go that route. Also depends if Robert would even want to. Some really prefer not to direct those they act with on a day to day basis.

I think he enjoyed directing his co-workers back in the SGU days. But he didn't like editing so much of it
