001. Because Lavon knows he looooooooves Zoe
002. Because as a bonus to the most glorious screw-up of his already gloriously screwed up life, Wade gets that on top of losing the best girl he ever had, now he has lost the best friend he ever had
003. Because Wade didn’t lose him! How could he lose him? He’s six and a half feet tall
004. Because Wade hurt someone Lavon cares about. And worse, he hurt himself
005. Because they'll...they'll get through this. they have to. Lavon can barely change his own lightbulb anymore
006. Because Wade pretended to be Didi so Lavon could rehearse with him
007. Because “Hey, dude, I'm...I'm trying to help you out here”
008. Because Wade suggested Lavon a new plan to woo Didi: ignore her, freeze her out. He knows for a fact chicks dig that!
009. Because “Hey, Bridget Jones, why don't you quit whining, beer up, come sit down so I can whip your ass in this game real fast”
010. Because Lavon didn't get how Wade did it. He must has been cooking all night. His Uncle Mo would be proud of him.
011. Because Lavon knows what he knows. Wade did Zoe a solid.

Yeah, there were a lot of extra things in S1 that we lost once we got into S2.

It would have, plus them playing games together then gave them the chance to talk about something more serious - & we definitely lacked their more serious moments later on too

Yeah, exactly! Lavon/Wade had a decent amount of those serious moments while playing video games in S1 and it was definitely something that was lacking. One of my favorite Wade moments is when they were playing games and then ended up having that serious talk about going after the girl he wanted.... We could have definitely used some of those in S3 especially.
