Yes..He didn't like Cersei leaving without participating in fighting the danger coming and he was pissed off, you see. He said to Brienne he would meet her in battle and he wasn't happy. He didn't like leaving like that but he should follow his queen. May be he though he would talk to her later and then Brienne's little talk to him made him more insistent in talking to Cersei and change her mind. Brienne had enlightened him to see the truth as Loyalty doesn't matter now, what really matters is saving our kind from what's coming and he did that. He had listened to her and when he saw that Cersei won't fight and doesn't trust him either, he left.
