I found funny how Elena didn't even struggled with blood lust. Or did she and I wasn't paying attention?

Nope. She didn't struggle. Even Caroline had moments in season 2 where she would see blood and not look at it. I'm still trying to figure out how Elena went from hating being a vampire in early season 4 to being happy with who she was and not taking the cure in the season 4 finale. If was a big WTF for me.

^ Yeah, I still don't get that. When she told Jesse that being a vamp was cool I was so confused.

To be a vampire was the worst thing for Elena, and it happened. Her personality has changed so much, even though most Elena fans deny it. She knew what she wanted when she was human, and she was so much better to people around her.

The problem is that they used Elena becoming a vampire to make DE happen. It was never about Elena as a character as was the case with Caroline. It could have been an amazing storyline for her. That's why I have a feeling that she'll become human again. Otherwise they'll have to use this break from Damon to help her find herself again.

^ This! I was actually really excited about vamp!Elena, because I thought it would be a nice way to freshen up her character and develop her, but instead, it was all about propping Delena. IDK, they missed two great opportunities to make her human again.

Elena with Damon is the worst thing to people around her. And I don't like when Elena blames Caroline for she not supporting them. She always forgets what Damon did to her. What kind of friend does something like that? And am I the only one person who misses their friendship when Elena was a human?

I sometimes miss when Elena was human because they gave her moments where she was a good friend and sister and it was genuinely sweet. Now her compassionate comes across as fake but that could just be bad writing, acting or directing.

But I found Elena boring when she was human. Elena seems happier nowadays. I still enjoy Caroline and Elena scenes when they're having fun.
