^ Me too. Candice and Nina have great chemistry and I'd like the scenes to focus more on them as characters as opposed to the Delena/Stelena triangle.
They missed such a great opportunity by not letting Caroline help Elena with vampirism. __________________

I loved their friendship in season 2, but after that the writers barely explored it. They want us to assume they are great friends, but they never show them being great friends anymore. Elena is less annoying when she's around her friends and I agree they missed a great opportunity to have them connecting over vampirism.

Yeah, if the writers had tone down the romantic triangle, and focused more in the relationships in general, the show could actually be in a better place with viewers by now

Although Elena annoyed me so much in the last two seasons, I really missed seeing them close like that. Their friendship was so much better before Elena turned a vampire.

I've never been an Elena fan but do find myself missing when she was a human. When she was being compassionate before it was really sweet but now it doesn't come across as genuine.
