I really love their journey over season 2. I love the slow progression from enemies to really caring about each other. I've never understood the complaints that they were rushed. Especially in comparison to Nathan. And even Thom (first kiss 5 eps in). I love that we got to see Alex and Sean go through some real growth before they got together.

I don't see anything fast at all. I think Alex was a little to notice Sean's interest in her. Even when Birkoff pointed it out, she didn't believe him.

Oh wow, people say their relationship is rushed? What kinds of shows are they watching? They've had a pretty slow build-up in TV time.

It was frustratingly slow at times, lol. Now that it's over and I see the whole thing, I adore the slow build up of the season, but at the time it was airing I was ready to see them make out by episode 7. My roommate caught up on the season much later, she got to episode 2 before she said "I'm sorry, all I can see when I look at those two is 'going to bone' flashing over their heads."

I understand it, but I don’t think he acted the right way.

I like that the writers feel pretty much the same way I do about Sean - he's being a butthead but it's understandable. I do want to see movement from Alex, and see her really commit and grow, but I didn't want their reunion to be all about her changing. I didn't want it to be her throwing herself at his feet and begging him to come back or anything. And I didn't really think it would be, but it's nice to see confirmation that the writers think Sean did things wrong too, because that means we'll see them both have to work to fix things. I also think it's interesting that he specifies that Sean doesn't know 100% about her past. I hope that means we'll get to see them talk about it. I mean, he clearly knew some of it last season, they could have just let the audience assume he knew the whole story, but Craig going out of his way to mention he doesn't makes me think that's going to come up. I am SO looking forward to the emotional Salex stuff coming up, it's going to be amazing!
