I never thought of it and was to lazy to get in to it but watching Three Rivers opend my eyes I hope Alex opend many people their eyes and became a donor......I miss Three Rivers to I think they pulled the plug to soon

This scene of the kiss was filmed, because the writers suspected that will cancel of the show (at first, this scene would not be in the finale of season 1). So at least good, that this scene appeared. Because without scene the end would be much worse, it would only be: Beth tells Mick that she cannot continue to date Mick because of their vampire-human situation. And it would end of the show. So at least in the last scene we had: Mick says that he loves her and they kiss.

Really!! didn't know that

kudos to the writers then if it had end the way you said I never had bought the DVD at least they end it on a happy note.

I hate it when they left the end open so that we have to guess what happend with the main characters.

Unfortunately, so it is decorated world of television. We have a cancellation and an end. And in the case of season 1, it usually the writers about cancellation learn after filming all episodes.. And then can not close the main storylines of the show.

I hate it too! And Moonlight was such a damn good show. Writer's strike ruined it
