Now; both these situations are as much similar as they are different, I know that.

But I thought it was interesting enough to make note off

Also, I love that the show not only tells us what Octavia would do in a situation like that (when she called out Clarke on it and obviously didn't agree, so back in S2). But also they show us (in S3) that Octavia does make "the other choice".

I would have never thought of that!
Obviously, given how everything played out, this is a moot point.

But if Octavia had to "pay" for her warning the village and thus revealing herself or worse if Pike had made Bellamy "pay" for failing to keep his sister in check. We would feel quite differently about that choice, right?

It was the noble and moral thing to do

and I'm glad Octavia is still around to face more adventures

Ooh that is an interesting parallel, Paula.

It shows that she indeed would have made another decision under similar circumstances - even if we knew that was the case. And to note ... I'd have made the same decision as Octavia there.

Same. It's funny in a way, you have these two main characters but honestly, I wouldn't even call them friends at this point. So, it'll be interesting to see if that'll change in season 4 or 5.

^ Yes their relationship does need fixing. Hopefully, Clarke saving Octavia evens the odds of Clarke previously not choosing to save Octavia. But they have also a long distance to cover.

I'm really interested to see where they'll go too

Cause S2 Octavia said she was done with Clarke. S3 Octavia was nothing but annoyed with Clarke.
It's like the Blakes siblings relationship in this aspect; that they do need to talk for things to be better between them.

If they'd all of a sudden go back to being friends and trusting each other, I'd find that weird
