Congrats on becoming mod to the Skins board Rachel
  I'm sure you'll do an amazing job  !!About hitting 50K, I think with the lack of posts we're more likely to be shut down than hit it and close, it'd be a nice sentiment to hit 50K and shut on a high but I don't think it'll happen as easily as we would have hit it when the board first opened. I'm glad you came to the board Rachel, you really contributed and livened it up for a moment, it was really nice to come to conversations to reply to, so I'm glad you decided to pop by __________________

 It's sad that this most probably happen, but I totally agree that it's better to do it on your own terms than being told to close down. You guys have been doing a great job on this board and it'll be really sad to see this board go, but maybe it's for the best. |

I think the feeling is pretty much the same all around. Although no one really wants the board to close, everyone seems to think it's the best thing, I think it's a yes Amy.
Can I just say, thanks for being such an awesome co-mod, it's been really fun being here, posting with every single person who came here, being made a mod and stuff, having lot's of lovely people to talk to and everything, so thanks to everyone who made my posting here so fun! __________________

And Priya, thank you for making my first moding experience a pleasant one. I was afraid to take on the job, but you made it less daunting. And the respectful, friendly posters too. So... end of August? Or is that too soon? |

Oh God, it feels like the show being cancelled all over again
 But this is for the best I think, and the show being cancelled was just stupid ABC's fault  You guys are seriously great mods. I loved coming this board mostly because you guys as mods are just so casual and you guys seem like buddies, so I hope that you two get to talk to each other after this closes. End of August does seem kind of soon, but I guess it's up to you two. ETA: Maybe we could do some sort of rewatch before the board closes, like we talked about doing a while ago? !Whenever is best for everyone really, I mean it'll be sad whenever it does close, so yeah. I'm sure we'll all talk around here somewhere else, if not, there's always PM's, I've been meaning to post back in the C/E thread on the Skins board but I keep missing so much atm  We all need a new show __________________

I know it's a little soon, but I'm thinking August 31. It's a week from today. I'd just like to end it at the end of a month, instead of in the middle. Seems more appropriate.

(Sorry, been busy dealing with my mom. Grrr. Haven't been around much.)
No objections. If we close on the 31st, we won't go on the red list for September. There is something about that which makes me feel good, even if it is very close to the close already. I think it is certain we will be red-listed.And I like the idea of making it 2 full years. __________________

Yeah, I like that we wont be red listed, as well as it being 2 full years around. It's weird, this was the reason I joined FF, to talk about the show with everyone, now I don't really know what to do with my spare time apart from stalk FF again. Weird, eh? __________________
