I don't always agree with the ratings and wonder how some great stuff is rated low and some horrible stuff is rated high.

it's too bad the movie wasn't better. It so disappointing when you're really anticipating a new movie or project from a fav actor and then when it comes out it's awful

Yeah, it really was - especially when you consider that Liz rarely does movies that are shown in cinemas. Honestly, even 4 years after this film, I still have no idea what us viewers were supposed to take away from it. It was such a jumbled mess of random characters and scenes.

The Purge 3 is the only one that's coming up. I don't expect it to get good reviews, but I hope it will be moderately successful at the box office.

I don't think I will see that tbh. Horror is not my thing I am a big chicken and can't do blood or guts or excessively gross stuff

I love horror but I can understand that it isn't everyone's cup of tea. I have watched the Alien films with Sigourney Weaver countless times, but I find even terrible slasher films can hold some entertainment value (aka "so bad, it's good") from time to time.
