The most disgusting and unfair way to end the story of a character in a freaking final season. Can't believe Trevino actually agreed to this

I should have known that the fact that it didn't make much sense to kill Tyler is not something that would stop these writers. So I guess I can start tearing that scene apart now. I don't think they could have come up with a lamer way to send off a character that's been around since the beginning even if they tried. The sheer amount of bs in how they killed him is just astounding. Like why the hell would Tyler egg Damon on to kill him even after he got Damon to walk away? So stupid.

Why did they do this anyway? For Damon to be beyond saving? Like we haven't seen that before. Why couldn't it have been Matt then? Why bring Tyler back just to kill him? I wish Trevino refused and realised that both he and Tyler deserved better than this.

Beside the fact that bringing back Tyler only to kill him off is lame AF, but the whole scene was terrible, makes no sense he'd give up just like that and not fight back, it's a werewolf after all, he can bit a vampire!! I understand the lazy work, but this is beyond that, it's complete BS

Yeah, but it's only when he was a hybrid that his bite was always deadly to a vampire. As a regular werewolf it's just on the full moon. But of course it was stupid nonetheless. Tyler has had lots of experience with vampires by now so he could've been better prepared and fight for the hell of it at least.

I'm just trying to find the logic...and i can't. Which is of course not surprising, but still.
Also i bet they won't even bother to show us Caroline's reaction. Or they will, but the said reaction will be another insulting slap to our faces and to the character's (Tyler) legacy.
