I know I know the title is so dated :lol: but I thought that was a great scene between them in 1x11, it was never used before and the titles in the futures titles list were kind of dated so I went w/ this since no one else said they wanted to open.

I was looking at the Wish List and we have gotten S/B working together, S/B talk about Bonnie's ancestry and they're working on taking a villain down together. :nod:

So, what do you guys think? That Stefan will apologize to Bonnie or not? I think he is. If he doesn't then that's way outta Stefan's nature.

I don't think Stefan will apologize to Bonnie, it would only make things worse if he were to talk to her right now. The best thing that could happen to Stefan/Bonnie is if Stefan would help Abby adjust to vampire life like he helped Caroline.

Maybe Caroline will reach out to him and ask for help if she's the one who's primarily helping Abby.

:rolleyes: People forget that Stefan is still recovering from ripper mode. From the show's timeline, he just went back on AB for a few days and it will take TIME for him to return back to his good, normal self that has morals, compassion, and respects the other characters. We know the show will neglect the Stefan/Bonnie dynamic for this season. It is still frustrating how people still refuse to take the circumstances and Stefan's condition/state of being & mind into account. If he were in-character, he would apologize but he has been OOC all season due to the ripper arc. I would be surprised if they made him apologize this season, considerng he is still kind of cold and is only gradually starting to show signs of the old Stefan with Elena. We are getting baby steps. I don't expect him to treat & respect Bonnie, Alaric, and everybody else properly like he used to for awhile. Also, the show loves to prop Damon's arc and development over Stefan's...often at Stefan's expense. It is not realistic for people to expect Stefan to suddenly snap out of it and start behaving honorably like he did in S1 & S2. We know why Stefan's character was ruined in S3 by the show but to avoid any shipping wars, I won't go into detail.

;) Season 4 is supposed to be about Stefan's redemption and SE recovering as well. I know they will show Stefan display remorse about how he behaved as a ripper and how he treated everybody as well as his homicidal rampage. We know Stefan is a caring, compassionate guy deep down. People shouldn't discount the ripper arc and block out the Stefan we have observed and respected from the first two seasons. He used to be a loving boyfriend and was very protective & caring towards Bonnie, Caroline, Alaric, Jeremy, and even showed compassion towards Tyler & Matt.

:(I don't expect the writers to address the elephant in the room and have Stefan make amends to Bonnie until he goes back to old, true self. Once, he is done fully recovering from the ripper phase and goes back to normal...we will see him display his true character growth as well as morals & emotional sensibilites towards everybody else again. They will make him apologize and discuss things with Bonnie eventually by redeeming the dynamic, but it will probably happen in S4. I would be surprised if it all happened this season and if it happened now, it will probably lack sincerity & be half-assed. Stefan is still trapped firmly in a gray area with his behavior and it will take time for him to get out of it.

:embarrassment:S3 Stefan is still not in the right frame of action or spirit. So right now, he would just do or say the wrong thing with not enough conviction or emotion. You can't even make the comparison to Stefan helping Caroline because he was a different Stefan back then. I just wish people would take the reality of the character into equation before judging him to harsh standards and expectations, they don't seem to be applying towards everybody else. This includes Damon who hurt people including Bonnie out of his own free will where there was no excuse and we know Stefan is behaving this way because he has lacked control & humanity all season long due to the ripper-state and struggling to get out of it. He won't behave the same way he did earlier until he goes back to normal and gets his full humanity/ethics/emotional range back. Stefan has a lot to feel guilty for and I expect a long, gradual process for him to gain redemption, salvation, and then we can see the Stefan we love & know again.

We probably won't see Stefan/Bonnie go back to normal and be in a good place again until next season. Both Stefan and Bonnie, in their true nature & core selves, are the most moralistic, caring, and responsible of the gang. It will take a period of time to be resolved again and we see the former status quo. They are probably the most alike and I expect to see their dynamic restored but Stefan needs to go on his quest for character development, redemption, and get his "soul" back figuratively before any of that happens. This applies to Stefan's relationship with everybody, not just Bonnie.

I'm kind of hoping that Bonnie takes out her anger on Stefan and Damon because their relationships need to develop organically. If a lot of time goes by without any S/D/B interaction and then they're pretending like nothing happened it would only ruin the relationships for me.

:( Time will go by for awhile considering the reasons I just listed above in my previous post. Stefan will apologize to Bonnie and express remorse about everything he did in the past year after he fully recovers from the ripper state. From the show's timeline, he just recently went back on AB and is starting to feel again. That is a process and it will take awhile for Stefan to evolve back into a good character again. People understand that with Elena's dynamic yet they refuse to apply that to his dynamic with Bonnie as well. Bonnie knows Stefan is OOC and he usually would not behave like this. He was a good friend to her before the ripper arc and she knows the circumstances. He will eventually apologize but it won't be in the near future, knowing these writers. Then Bonnie will forgive because she understands the situation with Stefan;s out of whack behavior all year. I also fully believe if Bonnie were put in the same position, she would choose Elena over Abby. She would have also chosen Elena over the Salvatores.

:embarrassment: They hit a rough patch and it will take a while for healing and forgiveness to develop between Stefan & Bonnie. However, that process can't begin until Stefan goes back to normal and gets his humanity/conscience back.

:confused: I don't think the relationships will be ruined for good. We have had Elena also endure so many complications and abuse at the hands of Damon and Ripper Stefan. So there is no reason to believe that Bonnie's dynamic with them will be ruined for good. She has every right to be upset and I hope it is resolved eventually.

:rolleyes: We know how the writer's are when it comes to Bonnie. They will put this on the backburner while they deal with other plotlines and character arcs. Next episode, it will be about Damon and Sage.

I would like for Stefan to say something to Bonnie about what happened but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't just cause at this moment he's still in the "kill Klaus" mindframe.

I couldn't even make decent art if my life depended on it so....

I really love the Stefan/Bonnie chemistry, so even if their relationship is ruined I'll still enjoy their scenes :love:
