Eleven years ago, on June 1 2009, the NCIS board was opened. The wonderful temporary moderators from the Moderator Support Team were Rella (sharmans), Cat (ღThetis), & Shannon (LG rocks my socks). On July 12 2009 Yaz (Miss Kenton) & Steph (maplezbear) were appointed as moderators on the board. On April 11 2010 Claudia (BoneLady) was appointed as the new moderator, after Yaz stepped down. Next came Steffi (Cosmic Love) who was appointed as the new moderator on November 13 2011 after Claudia stepped down. Finally on December 22 2013 Chelle (speedoflifexx) was appointed as Steph's fourth co-mod. On June 29 2014 the board name changed from NCIS to NCIS Franchise, helping to showcase that this is a place to discuss all of the shows within the franchise not just NCIS.

On July 21 2010 we celebrated our first milestone - 50,000 posts! We would then reach 75,000 posts on September 19 2011, and 100,000 posts on April 21 2013. On May 11 2020 we reached 175,000 posts! We were first customised on January 10 2011. Our current customisation was put up on September 30 2015, & we started the customisation process for the third time on August 14 2019. We look forward to hopefully seeing it soon!





On April 22 & 29 2003 our journey began when the backdoor pilot for NCIS aired as a part of Season 8 of JAG ("Ice Queen" & "Meltdown"). Then on September 23rd 2003 the first episode of NCIS aired. Since then the show has celebrated many milestone episodes including the 100th ("Recoil"), 150th ("Flesh and Blood"), 200th ("Life Before His Eyes"), 250th ("Dressed to Kill"), 300th ("Scope"), & the 350th ("Sight Unseen"). We look forward to celebrating the 400th episode at the start of Season 18! Meanwhile on April 28 & May 5 the NCIS: Los Angeles backdoor pilot aired as part of Season 6 of NCIS ("Legend (Part I)" & "Legend (Part II)"). The first episode of NCIS: Los Angeles aired on September 22 2009. Since then the show has celebrated many milestone episodes including the 100th ("Reznikov, N."), 150th ("Unspoken"), 200th ("This Is What We Do"), & most recently 250th ("Mother") which aired in season 11 which concluded earlier this year. In Season 4 of NCIS: Los Angeles, the backdoor pilot for NCIS: Red ("Red" & "Red-2") aired on March 19th & 26th 2013. Unfortunately on May 15 2013 it was announced that CBS would not be picked up the show. On March 25th & April 1st 2014 the NCIS: New Orleans backdoor pilot aired as part of Season 11 of NCIS ("Crescent City (Part I)" & "Crescent City (Part II)") which was then picked up on May 9 2014. The first episode of NCIS: New Orleans then aired on September 2014. Since then the show has been able to reach one milestone: the 100th episode ("In the Blood"). We look forward to it reaching 150 episodes during Season 7!
