Nell telling Kensi she doesn't want to be an agent anymore
 that she was going to resign from NCIS but don't think that's going to happenOf course Hetty knew  Glad that Hetty has given Nell the chance to take paid vacation than determine what she wants to do __________________

I don't know... it sort of makes sense
Especially that Nell didn't seem to fit in as well for the past 1 - 1.5 seasons... .shrug: It has either something to do with Renee, or they wanted to bring in some drama into Nell's life... & Yes, there's hardly anything which escapes Hetty's eyes... I loved how she made sure that Nell sat down and talked with her... __________________

I meant they have her in this limbo. They seemed to have her set up to take over for Hetty, but now have other plans? Then they seem to be writing her out but also not? That doesn't make much sense right now & it didn't necessarily come from anywhere. Unless it simply stemmed from what was happening with her mother

Agreed.
Character-wise it has probably originated from what's been going on with her mother... She always seemed to be eager to take over for Hetty, then came her mother and afterwards Eric... It was also quite clear that she missed being kept in the loop after she had the "falling out" with Hetty... She's definitely in limbo, but I'm hoping that s12 will bring some resolution for her character...  __________________
