I'm so excited. I guess, in keeping with real world news, the Russians are the bad guys.
PS: Thank you for the new thread |

Glad it was a good start to the season
I saw an ad for it last night, it made me excited (I may have flicked over to see the end of the repeat they had on last night just to see if I could see one because I hadn't yet ) __________________

it was a good episode for a season premiere. not as spectacular as expected, but good.
- poor helo crew. it is a pity that they didn't make it. - gibbs as a sniper: he can still do it.... - mcgee trying to make fire...gibbs had a lighter - took me a while to recognize who kevin was. - nice to see all of them in this first episode (including ducky, palmer, vance) - we will see the bad guy again. just good to have them all back. still have problems understanding bishop, but i hope i will adjust to it this season. waiting for more |

I'd love to make comments too, but for some bizarre reason neither NCIS or it's cousin NOLA recorded on Tuesday night. I went to find them on demand and they are not up there. I was fuming I think what happened is I got a new HD TV over the summer and deleted recording of NCIS but then I rescheduled it for the HD channel. I guess it didn't take. More

Oh that sucks Toni! Totally know how you feel. Have had that happen before. Hopefully it's on demand by now!

Thank you, Steph. I did get to watch them both yesterday afternoon. I loved them both. I posted my thoughts about NOLA on that thread. Here are my thoughts on the mother ship.
1) I loved it. Period. 2) I thought the villain will be a good one. And the corrupt Russian dude was a surprise. He was called "Counselor" but in my mind, originally, that's an attorney. It seems he's a member of the government or something. I don't know if anyone can clarify. 3) It was well paced 4) The actress that played the young pilot who died after the crash was very good 5) Now, I know that often they do stuff to move achieve a certain plot point. But, for real? Why did Gibbs & Company blow up the car instead of hot-wiring it and high tailing it out of Dodge. Even if the bad guys had more than one vehicle, they still would have made it to the border. They were that close. Anyway............... 6) The sort of good news is that Bishop didn't make me ill this episode. That's all I'm saying there. |

I almost thought that Bishop would go in Tim's place. But "McPaper" Tim got picked. They were lucky the surface to air missile must have only clipped them.
I figured with NSA System Admin Kevin Hussein something was up. His chip had a bad virus on it that it took even Abby awhile to fix it. Thinking WWMD, What would McGee do?? Then Gibbs long distance call telling not to download it, lol Was interesting that the "Uncle's" body had the chip in it. I figured when Gibbs and Tim got on the helicopter with Navy Lt. Commander Hannah Banks and Lt. Joseph Hagan, that they would be "Red Shirts" on this mission. Wished at least Banks would have made it injured but safe at end. But she did take one killer with her, Yuri. I worried he was going to try and rape her anyway. It was funny they drove up and then quietly shut the door. Liked how Gibbs and Tim both were Being Prepared as Boy Scouts, lol. Gibbs is told that Mercenary Sergi Mishnev is after him for Ari Hashwari's death. Won't he be after Ziva also? Maybe she should be notified. Gibbs sniping was nice on the Mercenaries chasing them. I figured when he shot Sergi that he had to have on a bullet proof vest and lived. Did Gibbs double pump him? Like he had used in past? Nice to have Tony pick them up. But he got there awful quick. So we will see him again. Gibbs told Vance after he said"He will be gunning for us", that " Not if we find him first!" Should be a good story line. Jake from NSA did also remind me of Jake from State farm, lol |

First thought: Gibbs didn't kill Ari - Ziva did. Go target her
Love the team fighting over who goes/not wanting to go For the most part the episode starts off really slowly but it got better When the helicopter was hit it didn't look believable that they were in it to me McGee saves Gibbs Poor Abby I do like Bishop making her feel better too "WMD" Did they get enough Caf Pows? I felt Tony got there really quick too Another boat? Is this one going to be named after one of or both of his parents? Quote:

Glad others were thinking about Ziva too when they were talking about Ari. And I was thinking the same thing too Chelle - that Ziva was the one that killed him not Gibbs.
Though, I just was thinking, no one but Gibbs knows that Ziva killed Ari, so I guess it makes sense for them to think Gibbs did it. It would be so neat if this was a way to bring Ziva back - if only for an episode or so. __________________
