She seemed to be well written from the start & they seemed to know what they were doing with her so I think that helped a lot. It hurts to lose a fan favourite who'd be in the show from the start but its nice to see them bringing in well thought out characters to join the show. It isn't just a replica of what we lost, its someone who is their own person with their own backstory & issues. Then pretty quickly, at least with Alex, we've gotten a backstory to understand her a little more too so I really think they knew exactly what they wanted for this character

They couldn't even do multiple ones for the others who joined NCIS - she had the most with those 2 (& a shot which appears to be from one of the eps)__________________
