Erica Durance 50,000 Posts Celebration: Because with 18 episodes and 50k, this IS her time to shine!
 Welcome to the 50,000 Posts Celebration Thread for the Erica Durance Board    め Erica Durance was born on the 21st of June 1978 in Canada. She grew up in Three Hills but her family moved to Vancouver, British Columbia after she had graduated from high school. In Vancouver, she studied acting and appeared in several television commercials before landing guest starring roles. め Then in 2004, Erica Durance had a guest starring appearance in The Chris Isaak Show. In the show, she played the role of Ashley. In the episode, she played a woman dating Chris. Then she next appeared in Tru Calling. In this episode of Tru Calling, she played the role of one of the contestants in a beauty pageant, contending against the character of Eliza Dushku. She was seen next in Sci-Fi Channel’s Andromeda. In this hit sci-fi series, she played the role of a librarian who is also the love interest of Teal’c. Erica Durance was also seen in The Collector where she played the role of a sister to one of the lead characters. め In 2004, Erica Durance landed a lead part in the hit series Smallville. In this CW series, she played the role of Lois Lane, the love interest of Superman. She recurrently guest in the show’s fourth season in 2004 and 2005. Then in 2005 she became one of the cast as her character became a regular of the show. From 2005 to the present season of Smallville, she is still one of the regular casts of the show. め Appearances to her credit include I Me Wed, The Butterfly Effect 2, Island Heat: Stranded, House of the Dead, Devil Winds and The Untold. In May of 2006 Erica Durance was one of FHM’s World’s 100 Sexiest Women. She was on the 38th spot. Then in 2007, she was again in FHM’s list but this time she got the 20th spot. Soundtrack Art by chase the memories (Ha) It feels like only yesterday when we were campaigning like crazy to bring this board into existence, but now we've done it and what's more, we've hit 50k guys! WHOO HOO! Okay now that, that's out of the way, onto the soundtrack! This soundtrack tells the story of Erica's entrance into SV and follows her through her struggles with those wacky people who "hate on her" just because she's playing the iconic role of Lois Lane. Not to speak on her behalf, but it must have been hard for her to deal with that response at first and I'm sure we're all very glad that she never gave up on the show or on the fans that adore her. The songs on this soundtrack also follow Erica and her fans through the dreaded AoS and testify to how our belief in Erica and her respect for Lois is a large part of the reason why we kept watching SV, even after that. Finally, this soundtrack follows Erica and her fans into S9 when both her patience and ours was finally rewarded with an increased episode count of 18 episodes (a vast improvemen over 12!) and an upgrade to the status of leading lady. This is truly Erica's 'time to shine' and our time to enjoy seeing her brilliant performances on our screens week after week, so as you listen to this soundtrack I hope it reminds you of how far she's come in the past 5 years and encourages you to look forward to whatever else she has in store for us.
