I love how Penny is supportive. It's not the Penny from season 7 who thought that sex was the only way to support her boyfriend, but she's now a mature Penny who tries to discuss the situation with her husband and looks at the possibilities that could be theirs in the future (when Leonard told her he could get fired, Penny blinked several times and took the time to drink some wine before saying anything else).
Of course she's still Penny so she can't help to make some jokes (kind of flirty ones IMO  ), but she stays next to him, calls his friends to help (without the result expected, but that was a try), and goes to the cemetery with him. I love the Penny we saw here.  __________________
