Ah, plot bunnies. They are very good. Except when I get an idea for one WIP fic, the one I'm actively publishing, and when I go to write it it fits in my WIP unpublished instead. Darn you, rabbits!

No, I say it in an affectionate tone. That's just hard to convey in writing. But I do love these plot bunnies.

I meant the fact that you intended to write the surrogate fic, but ended up writing the babyfic instead But yes, the plot bunnies are good things

Well a lot of the surrogate fic is written, I just need to edit it into publishing quality, haha. But yeah, I put this particular scene into the babyfic instead.

EDIT: Holy crap, I just found a JAG fanfic that's around a million words. INSPIRING!

Ohhh...haven't noticed that there is a thread for fanfic advertisment here.
A few days ago I've just started to write my first one (on BBT and in English )
Of course it's about the Shamy They're my favorite ship currently.

So, you might wanna check out the fic? Here's the link.

BUT I have to warn you: It's a very dark and horrific beginning, but it'll certainly progress...depends on if I decide to write further chapters, I'm not fully sure yet. (Although I already have a proper storyline in mind)

WOW!! that fic is yours!! I read it the other day and commented on it I really liked it, it's the first ansgty drama Shamy fic I've ever read (and the only one so far) and I really couldn't stop reading, and, I actually re-read it this morning again

I'll have to read yours! I wasn't reading any fic recently because I was feeling guilty about not updating TSA, but since I did today it'll be a few days before I feel guilty again-so it's on my agenda for tomorrow.

I'm not native English either, but I think you are doing amazingly. I've tried to write a fic in English before, and I always end up stuck with the language

Yep, that one's by me! (I've already changed my penname cause it even confuses me, it's an old one I rarely use anymore ...)

N'aww omg, so glad you liked it, since you're one of the most obsessive Shamy-fans I know (which is, of course utterly meant as a compliment! ) so I was so excited and felt honored, that you actually read and commented on it, and with such a positive upshot!

And I have to admit, this fic is really one of my favorites to write. Not only because of the Shamy. But because I'm a mess of emotions at the moment - many, many problems of the workaday life - and can also share some of Amy's (mainly childhood-teenage) experiences...in so far that I know how it feels to be the "dark horse", not fitting in certain social groups. (Even my reasons for it resemble hers)

Supplementary I love writing angsty fics! It's so much fun and yet so addicting. But I wanna try to stay pretty much in character with those two. Nothings more sorely than going out of character in Sheldon's and Amy's case...maybe it will be a little bit, cause we don't know how their relationship will process on tv yet, but till now I'll go with their current kinda-sorta.

Anyway, thank you all for reading my story! Hope you'll enjoy the next chapters too! (Meanwhile I'm pretty much convinced to go on with the fic)
