It's probably the jeans. Boots are pretty comfortable once you break them in.

Do cowboy boots have any grip on the bottom? I always assumed they were crappy to drive a motorcycle in because the bottoms are kind of slippery. He always seems to be rocking the combat boots now. He used to only wear cowboy boots it seemed.

I would call what he wears work boots. Is that the same as combat boots?
