We were definitely being confusing, talking about when Granite Mountain might give Taylor a break to go and do this movie. I still think it'll be this fall.

I just want to know more about who he is going to be playing. We've got nothing.

Looks like it's finally started filming in Montreal. I think Jessica was just over in Paris...so looks like this is Kit's portion of the filming for now.

Okay, so I am definitely excited this is getting underway.
We still need or info on this project's character. Hopefully, he will be seen a bit more while filming.

I think the filming is going to take so long because it's such a HUGE ensemble. So far just looks like Kit and Emily are filming.

The cast continues to expand with a few more Canadian actors, Sarah Gadon who I only know from Enemy, the Jake Gyllenhaal movie, and Ari Millen who I know from Orphan Black.

So Xavier said that filming would start in July and go for 40 days then the remainder of the filming would take place in London and Prague in September/October. Xavier was announced as one of the judges at TIFF, which is in late September which means he would have to be in Toronto.

I would venture to guess Taylor might be going right from Granite Mountain to filming this film.

Oddly enough this movie has been removed from Taylor's IMDb page. Not sure why. I hope he's still planning on doing it. I haven't seen any indication otherwise.

I actually noticed that a long time ago. I panicked but then went to the movie's IMDP page and he was still listed here. BUT he's not on the movie's page now either. My heart just sank.

IMDb can be kind of unreliable actually. Taylor was listed as being in a movie for a really long time that he was "confirmed" to be in but nothing ever came of it and he never talked about this movie, never acknowledged it.

It was on his page for years before finally someone took it down. It's just their users that update it.

The only explanation I would see for him backing out would be the role was so small and that he has something else lined up that would interfere with filming this. I mean he has actually spoken in length about Xavier and the movie back in December so it was definitely happening. But things happen and schedules don't work out, so I guess we'll see.

Even if the role is small I wanted him in it because it's such a great cast.

I tweeted Xavier from the Taylor twitter account and asked if he was still apart of his next movie...Xavier just replied with "no"

So I guess we can close this thread. I would guess it was Taylor that backed out, or maybe it was a scheduling issue, maybe he's signed on to something we don't know about yet or maybe he wanted to get Pieces done after Granite Mountain? Who knows.

OMG. This is so sad. I feel nauseous! Although it's nice that he responded, I don't like that response. He seems like he might be pissed, since I know he wrote the role especially for Taylor. Now we need to figure out who has been added to the cast so we know which role he was supposed to play. I wish he gave us more than just NO.
