Just watched the Season Finale (E10.)

I won't spoil anything yet, but I'll just say this week the episode is 75 min (15 min longer than a normal episode), and it is split into 3 parts -

Part 1 - Noah
Part 2 - Cole
Part 3 - Helen

So, I am assuming that each part gets equal time then? I've read some thoughts by people who have seen it, and some loved it and others were disappointed.

What did you think of it?

I was hoping it would end with Cole. Oh well, at least Cole gets his own POV and given that Alison is dead, it is kind of fitting that the other 3 get their own POV in the final episode. And when this was filmed, they didn't know they would get a Season 5, so it would likely be a fitting end.

My heart break for Cole. He do not know what to say to Joanie. I really do not understand Alison 's mother. Something is just not right with her. I simply hate Ben now. I thought he was sweet when he first met Alison, now I can't stand him.

It was a good season finale, better than last year (but that's not saying much, lol.) It did have that "series finale" type of feel to it, likely because they wrote and filmed this episode not knowing if there was going to be a 5th season yet.

Noah and Anton's part was the shortest, Cole's part was longer and Helen/Vik's was longest.

The scene where Cole and Cherry talk at Gabriel's grave (Cole took Alison's ashes to the grave) was heartbreaking and another solid Emmy-worthy performance from Josh. Brought some tears to my eyes.

Just like after Episode 8, Josh is getting A LOT of praise on twitter again from his performance in the season finale.

Looking forward to seeing the last 2 episodes on Wednesday or Thursday. I will really miss Alison, Ruth brought so much to the show.

I really enjoyed the season finale. I have to say this season has done something for me, that I never thought I would say. I actually tolerated Noah this season, borderline liked. Cole and Helen's part were my favorites from the finale though.

I wasn't surprised either. Here is yet another example of how Josh has taken over the fandom for a show. It happened with Pacey, it happened with Peter and now it's happening with Cole. He truly is a force to be reckoned with.
