I have watched episode 11. Again it didn't convince me.I just loved Cole/Scotty scene and Noah/Max scene.
Having said that, i don't like the soapy direction the story is taking. I hope there will be a twist in the final episode that will not see the mistery of the baby's paternity as responsable of Scotty's death. Actually it would be better if Noah was the father in the end, because it would be a reason for Noah to accept his responsability as father and marrying Alison even if she lied to him many times. Also, i would not accept a S3 storyline for Cole based on the fact that he doesn't know that he is Joanie's father. It would be better if Scotty, like us, thought that Cole and Alison had sex that night but Cole will tell him that it didn't happen. THAT would be good!  Are we supposed to think that Alison killed Scotty? I don't think she did. There may be still an important twist. Maybe Scotty died for another reason. Am i the only that thought that "that's our baby" at this point might be referred to The Lockhart's Lobster Roll? |

Josh, then, kind of confirmed that Cole doesn't know anything about that. So, it's possible that Cole isn't suspicious about that because he knows that nothing happened. Did you watch the Ellen Show? I know that, speaking of The Affair, josh said that they kind of revealed one of the two big misteries of this season and he was referring to the last episode we watched, ep. 10. At first i thought he meant joanie's paternity, but then i realized that the only real confirmation we had in that episode was about Luisa being Cole's future wife. Cole's wedding was mentioned since the beginning of this season but the identity of Cole's new wife was unknow, until episode 10. So, i can see it as a sort of mistery being revealed. In that case Joanie's paternity might not be so important. I really hope so, honestly. |

Thanks for the new thread. I was away yesterday at a Christmas do and been clearing the kitchen today getting it ready for the refurb. Looking forward to seeing eps 9 and 10 on Wednesday night or Thursday. It sounds like episode 11 was great so really looking forward to it next week.
