It really doesn't make sense that they're on their third try and think it'll work especially after people invested 9 years in the original series only to be severely disappointed. It might bring people back to the board so there's that.

Yeah, HIMYM came on the air in 2005, but it didn't get its own FF board until 2008, apparently. That was when it was either ending its third season or going into its fourth season.
