So post away, the last episode you watched... or movie involving one of the actors/actresses. Say something about it to, if you liked it, hated it, whatever.

The Long Weekend with Cobie Smulders - I think she did this just before HIMYM, her voice sounds a bit different. The movie was completely stupid though.

I didnt care much for the Long Weekend either, but I have seen a few others recently:

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) Jason Segel - I thought he was great in this, and portrays the character well - also a few similarities with Marshall, particularly with trying to get over someone like he did with Lily at the start of Season 2.

Slammin' Salmon (2009) Cobie Smulders - A comedy movie that is a bit silly at times but still entertaining, She plays one of the wait staff at the restaurant and the resulting competition for the highest order bills is quite funny.

Last night I watched, "Boyfriends and Girlfriends" on Freaks and Geeks. Jason Segel, was magnificent especially when 'Nick' was singing "Lady" to Lindsey. Classically awkward, classic Segel.

Now Freaks and Geeks are on Teen Nick! Last night, I saw the episode "Disco and Dragons", a fitting finale. 'Nick' (Segel) was so awkwardly cute when he danced at that disco contest.

Okay, this is completely unrelated to HIMYM unless you go to like three degrees, but I was watching the 100th ep of Friends and Phoebe called the young doctor "Doogie." And this isn't watching anything, but on the last day of our road trip we played Let's Go To The Mall, 500 Miles, and Nothing Suits Me Like A Suit, so then (I guess this is watching now) I watched that part of Girls vs. Suits on my ipod.

I think that the writers of "Happy Endings" are taking notes from HIMYM. First, they have 'The Bro Code", now one of the characters learned 'Krav Maga'. The HIMYM writers should watch that show for examples of plagiarism!

I've just finished watching a Canadian film called Ill Fated from 2004, with Cobie starring briefly in the first scene. I thought the storyline was quite interesting, and some of the characters are quite funny. Ive also never seen a film with so many F-bombs dropped in it, nearly every sentence! I won't spoil the story, but it does get interesting towards the end. Overall I'd say it was a good film, and probably worth a re-watch to understand the characters better than on first viewing.
