I had the first 4 books in the sookie stackhouse series forever and I finally started reading them, I'm on the third one now and its a very different animal (in some ways) to the tv show. Which is good. I just started the third one, but I just wondered if anyone else had read these and what they thought of them as a whole?

I've read some of them. Gave up on book 6 because I could not like the writing anymore, and the the story annoyed me.

I've been hesitant about starting that series, but also I'm just not into UF as much at the moment.

Yeah.

I started on Kate Daniels again, tried to read them years ago and couldn't get into them, but now.. I have, and am enjoying them. Just finished book 2.

Happy? More like ecstatic. I have another person to fangirl with.

I got the first three books in the Nightshifted series by Cassie Alexander and the first two books in the revivalist series by Rachel Caine for my birthday but am still reading the Sookie Stackhouse books so I haven't moved on to them yet.

I wasn't impressed by her vampire series so I kind of ignore her name when it pops up with other stuff. Have you read any of her other books?

I didn't like her vampire series but I started the Weather Warden/Outcast series and so far I have enjoyed them.
